Emily Haslam-Jones is one of our shiney yoga teachers.
Emily is a hugely energetic and skilled teacher of both adult and children's yoga. She began teaching yoga in 2007 and has undertaken near 1000 hours of yoga alliance certified training, with experience in seven different styles, including Hatha, Kundalini, Laughter yoga and children's yoga. As well as her work in the UK, she has also taught in Nepal and Canada.
With the experience she already has, her passions lies particluarly with Special Education Needs ( particularly within in ASD and ADHD). Dreams for the future of her yoga, are to develop her work with teenage yogis, and to work more with those affected by Post Traumatic Stress such as with refugees or in post -conflict/post natural disaster situations, drawing from her own experiences of such contexts whist working for the Red Cross and the UN.
A yoga class with Emily will be a lively and exciting experience. Her enthusiastic nature encourages children to access the yoga as they are able to, and she aims to include multiple intelligences, enabling children to learn in which ever way is best for them, through their experiences in her wonderful, movement based classes.
